#13 Shrug
I once came across a picture on Pinterest and I absolutely fell in love with this shrug. I tried to find a pattern for it and eventually found a blog that pointed to a shop where you can buy the finished piece but it was sold out.
So I made my one pattern and while I can’t post the ‘original’ picture due to copyrights, it came out exactly as I hoped it would.
It’s really easy to knit as the main piece is just a rectangle that is being folded and seemed, leaving gaps for the armholes.
For the armholes there are two options:
You can knit them in a flat piece and seam them in - OR - if you are more experienced you can use the magic loop method and pick up stitches.
The collar is basically a long basic scarf that is seamed to the main pieces with (easy) instructions to make it evenly long on both sides.
NOTE: Due to the size of the main piece I would recommend using a circular needle, even though it is knitted back & forth.
It will work with any yarn recommend for size 8-10mm and you will need a total of ca. 650 meters (depending on knitting gauge)
