Trapper Hat
by Devin Cole
Warm, earthy tones are a natural fit for a toasty trapper. The crown is worked in multiple pieces, isolating the brown, wine and sand shades of Silk Garden colorway #364: A stockinette panel forms the center, while sturdy seed stitch maintains the hat’s shape at the side panels. Solid-shaded Silk Garden Solo, in coordinating colorway #13 Sienna, highlights the classic cable-and-bobble patterns at the front and earflaps, which feature pompom-tipped I-cord ties.
