This pattern was designed for a 14”-15” soft bodied baby doll such as a Corolle Baby Doll, the Mon Bebe Classique®the American Girl Bitty Baby®, Baby Stella® or a Madame Alexander®.

All my designs are done with straight needles, and Caron Simply Soft Light Yarns. They are soft and durable; since these clothes are designed to be played with, I want them to be machine washable, yet look nice and feel soft. Any yarn can be used that has the same weight (3) as the Caron. Since you will need one 3 oz skein of each to work in two colors, you will have plenty of yarn.

The hoodie is a pullover, the shorts have a ribbing waist so require no extra elastic, and the onesie pulls over the head and fastens at the crotch with a smaill piece of velcro. The bottom of the shorts and the arm edges of the hoodie have no defined edge (such as rows of ribbing or garter stitch) giving them a slightly more relaxed and different look. The pieces mix and match nicely; the hoodie can be worn with or without the onesie, and the onsie can be worn either by itself or with the shorts.
