#1402 Top Down Lightweight T Shirt
A summer top that you will wear often! Fun and inexpensive to knit using fingering weight yarn at a gauge of 24 stitches to 4 inches. At that loose gauge, it won’t take forever, either. Would look great in cotton, silk, bamboo, or a blend. Scoop neck with a simple rib for edging, and optional waist shaping. Finished measurements 30 to 50 inches.
Sizes- x-small, small, medium, large, x-large,
xx-large.
Finished measurements-
Chest- 30 (34, 38, 42, 46, 50) ins.
Length- 24 (24, 24½, 24½, 25, 26) ins.
Materials- fingering weight yarn: approx. 796 (817; 966; 1,065; 1,415; 1,510) yds.
29 inch circular needles sizes 5 and 3; 16 inch circular needles sizes 5 and 3; double point needles sizes 5 and 3 or sizes required to get the gauge.
Scrap yarn, stitch markers (4 of 1 color, 1 of a different color), darning needle.
Gauge- using the larger needles in circular stockinette st,
24 sts equal 4 inches.
