EASY! The hat comes in 3 sizes and the scarf - well just make it as long as you like. I made it LONG because I wanted to use the whole 2 balls. The hat pretty much takes a whole ball, not as much, of course for the smallest size. This is a great “gift set” and the yarn is perfectly classic. (The hat actually looked pretty good on me…and I am NOT a hat person).
