A masterpiece in Galway Highland Heather. Not for the newest knitters, but not too hard for the experienced.
This garment is worked in pieces from the top of the raglan down, increasing in lace pattern as you go. If you notice, each new motif comes out of a knit rib at the raglan seam - so increasing in pattern is EASY!
Both the sleeves and body are unshaped, to give a nice eased flare shape. The hems are self finishing to make the most of the leaf motif.
The V-neck is finished with 2 separate strips of leaf lace, sewn on to the raw edge. A crochet round is optional, just to give a bit more firmness to the neck if needed.

Choose Galway yarn - a nice firm classic wool- to help make it last…and always hand wash.
This is a classic that you will be able to wear forever!
