This pattern is for a set of finger puppets, written in US crochet terms. This is an advanced beginner level pattern. There are no complicated stitches but some of the small parts may be a little fiddly for an absolute beginner. The base for the finger puppets is the same and there are suggestions for the details to make ten different animals. The base is made as a continuous spiral. You will need scraps of DK weight yarn in the colours of your choice, a 4mm crochet hook, a stitch marker (or yarn scrap) and a small amount of stuffing for some of the designs (though you can alternatively stuff using yarn ends). These finger puppets are designed to fit the average adult finger. To make them smaller or larger, you could change the hook size and/or yarn weight. The samples were made using Stylecraft Special DK.
