MATERIALS AND TOOLS
• Yarn:
- main color yarn – I used slightly less than 100 g of “Andre Classic” by Alpina (60% acrylic, 35% rayon, and 5% spandex, 530m/100g).
- brown color yarn for the shoes - I used small amount of “Jeans” by YarnArt (55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 160m/50g).
- beige fluffy yarn for the fringe – I used “Swan’s down” by Nazar (100% polyamide, 100g/170m).
Tip: You can buy this yarn here https://www.etsy.com/de/shop/LittleOwlsHutRUSSIAN
I recommend that you use stretchy chenille type of yarn rather than smooth yarn. My yarn stretches a lot when stuffing. So if you use another type of yarn with the same gauge test, your toy might end up much smaller than the size stated in the pattern.
• Matching steel crochet hooks. I used 1.25 mm for the main yarn and 1.5 mm for the shoes.
• Single core copper PVC electrical wire 3 mm in diameter for the neck – I used approximately 40 cm (15.8 inches).
• Any stuffing.
