Pattern Description from Vogue Knitting, Winter 2009/10: “This bulky short-sleeved pullover boasts an oversized cowl neck and deep ribbing. Wear it either stockinette- or reverse-stockinette-side out - it’s reversible.”
“Oversized pullover worked in the round to the underarms, with short sleeves worked down from the armhole and a large, fold under, ribbed cowl neck. Designed by Wenlan Chia for Twinkle.”

- Bust 43 (47, 50½)“/109 (119, 128)cm
- Length 21 (21½, 22)“/53 (54, 55.5)cm
- Upper arm 16½ (17½, 18½)“/42 (44.5, 47)cm
Materials:
- 5 (6, 7) 7oz/200g hanks (each approx 83yd/76m) of Twinkle by Wenlan/Classic Elite Yarns, Soft Chunky (wool) in #39 nought (taupe)
- Size 17 (12.75mm) circular needle, 32”/80cm long OR size to obtain gauge
- One set (5) size 17 (12.75mm) dpn
- stitch markers and holders
Gauge:
- 6½ sts and 10 rnds = 4”/10cm over St st using size 17 (12.75mm) needles
- TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE
Notes:
- The body is worked in the round to the underarm and is reversible.
- The original Twinkle runway piece was shown on the purl side. The garment in the photo o page 57 shown on the knit side.
- The sleeves are picked up around the armhole from the purl side and worked down. If worn on the knit side, the picked up row around the armhole forms a ridge. If worn on the purl side, it is a smooth edge.
