Skill Levels:
Easy to Moderate
Materials Needed:
5mm (US size H) crochet hook
Approx. 1 skein (360 yards or 329 m) worsted weight yarn in grey, and small amounts in aran and red for adult hat. I used Bernat Premium in Dark Grey Heather, Aran Tweed and Red.
Faux fur pompom with elastic loop and ½” button, optional.
Elastic ponytail holder for messy bun hat.
Tapestry needle
Pattern Notes:
Hats are made in rounds beginning with the brim and working to the crown.
Turning chain 1 does not count as a stitch.
This pattern is easily adjusted to larger or smaller sizes using different size hooks for a custom fit.
All sizes are written separately for ease of use. I recommend beginners crochet the beanie or pompom hat first.
