1:6th scale Genevra Dress
To fit a 29 cm/11-½ inch tall doll (including Curvy Barbie)
This is designed to be worn with a belt, so that blouson effect shows up on the bodice. The bodice is very loose fitting, but the skirt is close fitting. Instructions are also included for working a skirt (not shown), without the bodice.
Ability Level: Experienced
Even if you are an experienced knitted this pattern is not suitable as a first attempt at miniature knitting.
Materials required:
One pair 2.00 mm knitting needles, approximately 70 metres No 10 or No 12 crochet cotton, 5 stitch holders or safety pins
Approximate finished sizes: back neck to hem - 16 cm/6½-inches; long sleeve seam - 10 cm/4-inches; short sleeve seam - 2.5 cm/1-inch; waist – 6 cm/2¼-inches.
Gauge - Worked over stocking/stockinette stitch: 6 rows = 1 cm and 5 stitches = 1 cm
