Peachy BUTTERFLIES coat and beret / hat set.

This pattern is written by me for beginner.
It is super detailed and packed with color photo illustrations and VIDEO instructions. I have written this Easy Simple step-by-step, row-by-row, stitch – by- stitch pattern that anyone can follow. Even a child can do it.

If you think ALL you can manage is a scarf – wrong !!!
Just 2 stitches; knit and purl is all you need to knit this coat and a hat.

In addition this pattern contains several “short cuts” and “tricks” that I have included as an extra tool for the beginner to improve in the future. This is not just a pattern – it’s a lesson in knitting at your fingertips.

Now as for this lovely sweater / coat:
This will fit American Girl Doll or any other 18” doll.
The yarn used here is an ordinary worsted weight acrylic yarn. I used a slightly fuzzy yarn. You will need about 3 oz of yarn for both the coat and the hat.
The coat is done without side seams. The only seams are under arms in the sleeves and in the back of the hat.
