Zhang’s gorgeous brioche cardigan, knit back and forth in rows, is worked from the top down to the underarm and divided, worked in sections to create the pockets, then again in one piece down to the lower edge. The syncopated sleeves are worked the round; the ribbed collar is picked up and shaped with short rows; and the buttons are covered with crochet, with button loops crocheted to the right front edge.
