Like most people who knit, i hate to wate yarn… I love to use up every scrap!

I made Lani’s legwarmers to match my daughter’s legwarmers, and before I knew it, a whole Dance Outfit had sprung into being.

Do not be afraid of the Craft Tulle! Stitches are picked up through the Tulle, just like with meshy ribbon yarns. Sewing needle and thread are only used for buttons/snaps. If you are using snaps or velcro, simply ignore the 2 buttonholes worked in Leotard.

Millefiori from Berroco or other worsted-weight self-striping yarn, about 70 yards
Tonic from Jojoland or other dk yarn, about 70 yards
One roll of Craft Tulle, available at most craft stores.

Two Small buttons, snaps, or velcro
Small amount of thread and sewing needle

24 Stitches & 28 Rows = 4” in K2, P2 Rib
Tonic:
21 Stitches & 29 Rows = 4” in Stockinette Stitch
