This is a crocheted version of an 18” doll. It is the same size as American Girl dolls, My Size dolls and other brands. Most of the clothes you buy or make for those dolls will fit this crocheted version. This pattern is JUST for the doll. You will need to provide the clothes for it. The arms and legs move just like other 18” dolls. The hair can be any color and any type of yarn. No gauge is needed, as long as you pull the stitches tight like you do in all amigurumi so the stuffing isn’t visible.

These are the materials needed:
2.5 mm crochet hook
Tapestry needle to sew on a mouth
Desired skin color yarn (worsted weight)
Yarn for body unless you want it to appear naked (worsted weight)
Yarn for hair (any type)
12 mm safety eyes (2)
Doll eyelashes
20 mm doll joints (4) if you don’t want to use plastic joints, you can sew the arms and legs on instead.

Stuffing
