1882 Mini dress, princess style
Passap machine knitting instructions for a short-sleeved, princess seamed dress knit in an EX/N racking pattern. While the majority of the shaping is done on the machine, the neck is shaped using the “cut and sew” technique.
The 1935 Lady’s coat co-ordinates with this dress.
Materials:
* 11 ozs “fine mohair wool, ombré shade” (780m per 100g)
Test square
In EX/N racking pattern (see diagram): 100 sts (counting sts on front bed only) = 37.5 cm (14 3/4”), 100 rows = 19 cm (7 1/2”)
Knitting Machines
The stitch sizes given in this model book are for the earlier “Pinkie” Passap. Add an extra half stitch size for the appropriate stitch size for the later DM80 and E6000 machines.
By following the schematic, this pattern can be adapted for use in other standard gauge knitting machines.
The pattern is pictured p8 of the model book (p9 of the pdf), the instructions are on p3 of the instruction book (p23 of the pdf).
