#19 Drop-Stitch Scarves
by Nancy Wyatt
Uses one skein each of the chenille and the ribbon yarns.
“This scarf is an ideal project for a beginner. Knit together the blended colors and silky drape of nylon ribbon yarn with the rich, velvety plush of super bulky-weight chenille for beautiful results. The four-row drop-stitch pattern is simple to follow: two rows of knitting followed by yarn over/knit one for one row, then in the next row you knit the knit stitches and drop the yarn overs. Finish the scarf with fringe made from both yarns. Choosing colors is half the fun: we picked themes of turquoise, hot pink, and rust.”
