Pattern Description from Vogue Knitting, Winter 2008/09:
Kaffe Fassett’s strikingly multicolored scarf can be made longer by repeating the squares or narrower by working half the chart. Various rectangular motifs sandwich the main patterning at either end. The entire piece is worked in twenty shades of ’Scottish Tweed 4-Ply’ from Rowan/Westminster Fibers.
Wide, multi-colored intarsia scarf.

Materials:
- 1 .88oz/25g ball each (each approx 120yd/110m) Rowan/Westminster Fibers, Inc. Scottish Tweed 4-Ply (wool) in #4 storm grey (B), #13 claret (C), #18 thatch (D), #23 midnight (E), #14 heath (F), #6 sea green (G), #16 thistle (H), #15 apple (I), #3 skye (J), #17 lobster (K), #9 rust (L), #19 peat (M), #2 machair (N), #5 lavender (O), #7 lewis grey (P), #11 sunset (Q), #22 celtic mix (R), #1 grey mist (S), #20 mallard (T), #12 wine (U)
- One pair size 4 (3.5mm) needles or size to obtain gauge.
Note: There is no color A used in this pattern.
