This pattern is a revised and updated version of a 1930’s knitting pattern. Comprised of two separate pieces knit in different color yarns, the cap and separate detachable band with bow can be worn in many ways. Worked in simple textured pattern throughout on size 3mm needles(US 2 1/2) with fingering weight yarn. Sample shown is knit in Knit Picks Palette. Construction is by both circular and 2 needle methods. Yarn requirements are approximately one 50 gram ball of main color and 25 grams of contrast yarn.
Size is to fit average woman’s head of 22”,can be adjusted by going up or down a needle size.
