Passap machine knitting instructions for a long sleeved, princess seamed coat knit in double bed birdseye jacquard with one yarn. All pieces start with a tubular hem, but are then knit without shaping so that the coat can be constructed with the “cut and sew” technique. The coat is closed with a belt knit in long stitch (CX/N).

The 1882 Mini dress, princess style co-ordinates with this coat.

Materials:

  • 30 ozs “fine mohair wool, ombré shade” (780m per 100g)
  • 1 buckle

Test square
In DBJ pattern (see diagram): 100 sts = 14 cm, 100 RC = 7.5 cm

Knitting Machines
The stitch sizes given in this model book are for the earlier “Pinkie” Passap. Add an extra half stitch size for the appropriate stitch size for the later DM80 and E6000 machines.

By following the schematic, this pattern can be adapted for use in other standard gauge knitting machines.

The pattern is pictured p8 of the model book (p9 of the pdf), the instructions are on p15 of the instruction book (p35 of the pdf).
