Passap machine knitting instructions for a man’s sideways knit dolman sleeve sweater. The sweater is knit from cuff to cuff. The cuffs and bands are in 1:1 rib, the rest of the sweater being knit in stripes of half tubular stocking stitch.

Materials:
16 ½ ozs “medium synthetic yarn” (440m per 100g):

  • 9 ozs light blue
  • 3½ ozs navy blue
  • 2 ozs tangerine
  • 2 ozs yellow

Test square
Stocking stitch: 100 sts = 33 cm, 100 rows = 26 cm

Knitting Machines
The stitch sizes given in this model book are for the earlier “Pinkie” Passap. Add an extra half stitch size for the appropriate stitch size for the later DM80 and E6000 machines.

Instructions for the Passap Combi are given for this pattern.

By following the schematic, this pattern can be adapted for use in other standard gauge knitting machines.
