Story
I knit the original, wheat brown/green Manos del Uruguay pullover for myself in 1980 (ok, maybe 1979) and wore it proudly all through college.

Construction
Knit in one piece from the bottom up until split for armholes. Short row shoulders are joined with 3 needle bind off. Sleeves picked up, turned inside out and worked down, in the round in knit sts. Neck added last.

Manos del Uruguay Wool Clásica; 100% Wool, 138 yds (126 m), 3.5 oz (100 g) Oil Slick #34; (5-6-7-7-8)(9-10-11-12)skeins

Recommended ease 8” ; 20.5 cm. Shown in 48” (122 cm) with 12” (30 cm) of ease and 40” (102 cm) with 8” (20 cm) of ease
