Included in this pattern are instructions and pictures to crochet a kitty and a bunny with both blanket or velvet and worsted weight yarn. The same body and feet will be used for both animals with each version and instructions included for the different ears and tails. I have also included a text only version of the pattern for those who would like to print the pattern without pictures.

Beginning pattern is written for use with blanket/velvet/bulky yarn. Directions are also included to crochet the same size animal using worsted weight yarn. The pattern for the blanket yarn animal can also be used with worsted weight, but will be smaller in size. These animals can be completed in a few hours and require minimal sewing.

Finished Size: CAT is approximately 7-8” tall including ears and 5-6” wide
BUNNY is approximately 8-9” tall including ears and
5-6” wide
Size will vary depending on yarn and tension used

Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Patterns designed to be beginner friendly for those new to amigurumi. Requires basic crocheting and sewing skills to attach tail, feet, ears, and to make facial details.

Pattern is worked in continuous rounds throughout

Pattern was made by yarning under rather than yarning over. Do whatever you are comfortable with! Note that if choosing to yarn over, the look and size of your finished project may differ than what is pictured.

1 skein Hobby Lobby Adore-a-ball yarn in Sprinkle or color of choice (3.5oz/100g/92y/85m)~Approximately 85 yards was used to complete project
Similar yarn substitutes include Premier Parfait, Bernat Velvet yarn (about 80yds needed to complete project), size 5 bulky yarn or any size 4 yarn (about 130 yds to complete project)
NOTE: Final product may differ in appearance and size if choosing to use a yarn substitute. I have included notes for changes in the pattern if choosing to use worsted weight yarn. Placement of eyes, details, and body parts may also need to be adjusted to achieve desired look depending on yarn and tension
