A great basic pattern to which you can add any fair isle design, and you don’t have to knit in the round!

I knit quite tightly, so for most knitters this pattern will work better in a 4 or 3 needle.

This was a pattern I modified somewhat and posted on Craftster from a 1954 pattern book - I’m unsure if this is now in the public domain or not, but if it is I mean no harm by posting it - I’d just like to share this great pattern with other ravelers!
