2 Piece Easter Eggs
Don’t want to mess with real eggs for Easter?
Crochet your own 2 Piece Easter Eggs that can hold candy for the kiddos! They are the size of a goose egg and can hold a Cadbury Cream egg in each half with room for jelly beans. The egg ties closed with a bow in the front and is tied together in the back. You will not loose the halves! Unless you have a smart munchkin on your hands that likes to untie things. :-D
You will need:
Scrap yarn medium 4 or all same type/brand to get the same size for each egg.
G or 4.00mm hook or a hook that is 1 size smaller than recommended for the type of yarn you use.
You need to know:
How to do a Magic Circle or Ring
ch = chain
ss = slip stitch
st = stitch
sts = stitches
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
bpsc = back post single crochet
sctog= two single crochet decreased to one
This pattern is worked in rows.
