To make this market tote with handles and a cross-body strap, I used about 215 yards of worsted weight yarn. I used a half skein of Lion Brand Mandala Tweed Stripes in White Elephant to make a medium-sized bag, but any worsted weight yarn that is not too stretchy should work well. I used an H hook and worked in rounds throughout. This bag is easily adjustable for size and gauge, and works well with ombre & color changing yarns.

MATERIALS:
5mm H hook
1/2 skein (215 yards) Lion Brand Mandala Tweed Stripes yarn in White Elephant
(or any worsted weight yarn, yardage to vary with size of bag made)
Sewing scissors, darning needle for weaving in ends & sewing strap, stitch markers if desired
