Pattern description from Knit.1, Spring/Summer 2008: “Go ahead and flip expectations: Take this seed-stitch tee dark for the Uptown look, in Conjoined Creations’ ‘Dance Part,’ light for the downtown, in ‘Organic Cotton DK’ from Sublime/KFI. It’s what you wear it with that renders it prepster or hipster. Vladimir Teriokhin capped the sleeves and placed a contrast ribbing at the borders and deep V-neck plackets.

• Downtown Version: 10 (12, 14, 15) balls in #91 Pistachio of Organic Cotton DK by Sublime/KFI, 1¾oz/50g balls, each approx 120yd/110m (organic cotton)
• Uptown Version: 6 (7, 8, 9) hanks in Pony of Dance Party by Conjoined Creations, 1¾oz/50g hanks, each approx 125yd/114m (soy silk)
• One pair size 5 (3.75mm) needles or size to get the gauge
• Stitch holder
