Jac and I are really bad at the Sonic games. We grew up in a Nintendo house, and didn’t have many chances to log playtime on a Sega. It’s pretty normal to be a multi-console family these days, but way way back in the early 90’s it was really rare. The only person we knew that had a Sega was Aunt Lisa.

Her house was like our own special vacation spot. Disney movies as far as the eye could see. All the sweet snacks an adolescent could want. A Sega that was well stocked with games, and not held back by pesky screen-time limitations. We used to love going over there, and would jump at any opportunity to babysit, house-sit, or just hang out and get our butts kicked by Dr. Robotnick.
