Dungeons & Dragons (commonly abbreviated as D&D or DnD) is a fantasy tabletop role-playing game (RPG), which was originally designed by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson.

Honestly, I know it was created by two dudes, doing some nerdy dude stuff in the 1970s. But, I swear it was created by two knitters. I mean, you literally sit around chatting and maybe enjoying a few snacks. Sure, occasionally you’ll have to put your knitting down to roll a D20, but it’s a match made in heaven. I’m not saying you should convince your knitting group to play D&D, but once you do, you’ll never go back.

Note that this pattern has options for different sized squares by using different weight yarns (sport, fingering) and corresponding needle sizes (3.5 mm, 2.75 mm), as well as both knitting and crochet instructions.
