We all want it, so let’s knit ourselves a bit of peace. The 2024 Year of Peace Scarf is a low-stress scarf that requires just a few rows a day to be completed by the end of the year, in time to gift or wear.

Alternating texture and lace, this scarf will appeal to knitters of all levels and interests. There is enough challenge to keep the knitting interesting for advanced knitters while allowing advanced beginners to stretch their skills and learn new techniques.

When you purchase the pattern, you will receive the list of supplies you will need for the project. Each month, beginning in January 2024, you will receive a new section of the scarf pattern that can be knit a few rows a day throughout the month or can be completed in a few hours. This gives plenty of time to work on other projects each month.

The patterns are charted. Bead placement is included in some of the charts, but beads are optional.

The scarf was designed for fingering weight or lace weight yarns, but sport, DK, or worsted weight will work fine. The larger weights of yarns will make a larger scarf and you will need to be sure you have extra yarn to finish your scarf.
