20s Art Deco Flow
20s Art Deco Flow was inspired by the 1920s era, I hope that you like it!
Thank you so much to my amazing testers Edith Snyder, Sue Sweet, Tokkie Diamond and Caroline Tigchelaar! I couldn’t have done it without you!
The technique is overlay mosaic crochet. You alternate the 2 colours and cut the yarn at every row. The ends are hidden with a border, full instructions for this are included.
There’s a pictorial version for the border, and a printer friendly version. I’ve separated the charts to separate PDFs.
It includes the full written instructions for 165 stitches and 235 Rows, plus 12 charts that have been sectioned every 10 stitches by 10 rows to make it easier to read. It has a full chart also sectioned of the whole blanket.
It is a one size blanket, I used DK yarn. If you use a thinner yarn the blanket will be smaller and if you use a thicker yarn it will be larger.
The finished size with DK yarn is 160/110cm, 43/63inches.
I used Stylecraft special DK in granite for the background colour, 7 balls/skeins.
The detailed colour Emu classic DK in Dijon, 6 balls/skeins.
My gauge with DK yarn, 10cm is 16 rows by 16 stitches.
The blanket is one size.
