MATERIALS AND TOOLS
✓ Main yarn – I used approximately a skein of ivory angora yarn (60% acrylic, 40% wool) that has approximately 240 m in a 100 g skein.
Tip: You can use any moderately fluffy yarn (wool, acrylic, etc). The thicker the yarn, the bigger your toy will be. See the gauge section. If you need exactly the same yarn visit this shop https://www.etsy.com/shop/LittleOwlsHutRUSSIAN
✓ Matching crochet hook. I used 3 mm crochet hook.
✓ Strong thread of matching color to sew the pieces together and to needle sculpt the toy.
✓ Transparent glue.
✓ Stuffing.
✓ Tapestry needle.
✓ A pair of ready-made eyes – I used 10 mm half beads.
✓ Beige or peach polymer clay and varnish to make the nose and the trotters.
✓ Brush or Velcro to brush up the toy.
✓ Scissors.
✓ Any material for tinting (optional) – oil pastels, oil paints, pencils, etc.
✓ Single core copper PVC electrical wire – I used wire approximately 21 cm/8.3 inches long 2 mm in diameter for the lower lip and 14 cm/5.5 inches long 0.5 mm in diameters for the tail.
✓ Fabric tape approximately 1 cm wide to work up the wire ends (optional).
✓ False eye lashes (optional).
