ABOUT DESIGN AND PATTERN
Dorie is the sweater—sweater. A striking pullover that is as much fun to knit as it is to wear. The mini sweaters are knit using the intarsia technique and the embellishments on each mini sweater are worked using duplicate stitch. Both techniques are clearly explained, including diagrams. The back of the sweater is plain. The oversized pullover has modified dropped shoulders (square armholes) and a round neck.
Be as creative as you wish when embellishing the mini sweaters; use beads, sequins, embroidery, buttons etc. This is a great project for your knitting group. Every pullover will be so different.
The easy to follow pattern includes:
• Schematic for each piece
• A helpful tracking sheet
• Diagrams and full explanations for techniques
• A link for substitute yarn
• A pattern helpline
