Both English and Japanese versions are fully charted using standard knitting and/or crochet symbols. Japanese version available here.

Note: this pattern is written for either hand- or machine-knitting. A chart is provided for hand knitters, and a punchcard is provided for machine knitters.

• standard-gauge knitting machine (4.5mm pitch) with punchcard capabilities or knitting needles necessary to achieve gauge
• Japanese size 4 & 6 straight knitting needles (3.3 & 3.9mm)
• Japanese size 4 circular knitting needle (3.3mm)
• 135g (423m) color 211
• 135g (423m) color 212
• 135g (423m) color 222
