Not really a pattern - merely a recipe that allows you to get 2 garter diagonal squares out of each skein of Cascade 220, and thus make the most of this amazing yarn and its hundreds of colours. Instructions also for joining and a suggested simple crochet border.
Please note - in terms of guage I am an “average” knitter. I can’t absolutely guarantee that these numbers will work for you! If you can get 2 squares out of the first skein you use then clearly you are going to be OK. If not you may need to reduce the number of sts on the diagonal before starting the decreases.

The finished piece is sewed up into a 4 x 7 square grid.
