221 B Skulls
Take the inimitable décor of 221 B Baker St with you wherever you go!
This cap sleeve jumper is knit entirely in the round, using merino and silk yarn for gorgeous drape and sheen. The body is worked in one piece up to the underarms and shaped with decreases, increases and short rows.
Cap sleeves are formed by casting on stitches and adding to the body to make up a seamless yoke.
Buffalo skull motif (14 sts repeat) is worked in intarsia-derived techniques, but with yarns carried behind the work (and twisted!) throughout. Wallpaper and skull motifs (12 and 10 sts repeat, respectively) are worked in stranded techniques, with dominant colours being the black and the cream, green remaining in the background.
NB: You can probably skip the short rows if they seem too scary. You’ll end up with a slightly more boxy fit, but no major damage. If you want to skip the short rows, just work the row as per normal.

You can add a touch of mystery to your jumper by embroidering a secret message on the yoke. I know I have. Have you found it? Can you observe, or do you merely see?
