Pattern description from Vogue Knitting, Spring/Summer 2008: “An ethereal A-line skirt ringed by a feather-and-fan bottom border, is shaped through subtle increases between the lace repeats. Mari Tobita knit it waist-down--flat for the yoke, circularly for the rest of the skirt--in “Coton Mercerise” by Bergère de France.“
“Lace paneled skirt, worked from the top down, with plain yoke and lower ruffled hem. Sized for Small, Medium/Large and X-Large. Shown in size Small on page 80.”

- Length 39”/99cm
Materials:
- 7 (8, 9) 3½oz/100g balls (each approx 618yd/565m) of Bergère de France Cotton Mercerise (cotton) in #212.311 blanc
- One size 5 (3.75mm) circular needle, 29”/73.5cm long or size to obtain gauge
- One each size 6 (4mm) circular needle, 32”/80cm and 60”/150cm length or size to obtain gauge
- Stitch markers
- Five ½“/13mm buttons
- Five 3/8”/10mm buttons
- ½yd/0.5m of 7/8”/22mm wide grosgrain ribbon
- 2yds/1.85m of 5/8”/15mm wide grosgrain ribbon
Additional Gauge: 21 sts and 30 rows/rnds = 4”/10cm over lace pat st using 2 strands of yarn held tog and size 6 (4mm) needle
