Passap machine knitting instructions for a striped stocking stitch halter neck top to go with 2383 Linen two-piece suit. Despite the name, this top does cover the lower back.

The front and back are knit sideways in one piece starting in the middle front, and beginning and ending with waste yarn. The collar is knit separately using tubular stocking stitch.

The pattern calls for 250g cotton/linen yarn (300m per 100g): 130 g offwhite, 80g black and 40g cognac plus a length elastic to be added to the back of the garment.

Test square (stocking stitch): 100 sts = 36 cm, 100 rows = 21 cm

(Note this pattern and model 2384 seem to use the same yarn, but the stitch numbers in their test squares differ while the row numbers and stitch sizes are the same. It looks like there is an error in one of them.)

The stitch sizes given in this model book are for the earlier “Pinkie” Passap (referred to as the “Duo” in this model book). Add an extra half stitch size to get the appropriate stitch size for the later DM80 and E6000 machines.

This pattern also includes instructions for the Passap Combi machine.

The pattern is pictured on p4 & 5 of the model book, (p6/7 of the pdf), the instructions are on p10 of the instruction book (p29 of the pdf).
