Welcome to the very first 24 Days of Christmas Ornaments Knit Along DK weight version! This knit along was inspired by all of the DK weight, leftover yarn I have in my stash, not to mention all of the scraps from previous projects I have made! I was also inspired by the holiday tradition of advent calendars where the receiver opens up a new gift each day from December 1 - December 24 revealing a surprise inside. Your advent surprise each day during this mystery knit along will be a different Christmas ornament pattern for you to knit up and hang on your tree!

The patterns included could be one of the following: mini sock, mini sweater, mini hat, mini mittens, or maybe a different, fun ornament!
You may have probably made projects in the past using DK weight yarn and now have countless little balls of yarn rolling around everywhere. Now you will have a project to use up all of these little bundles of leftover happiness! You can use any color you’d like for each of these ornaments so have fun with them!!

Once you finish each ornament, tie a little ribbon or piece of hemp on it and you will be well on your way to twenty four little homemade Christmas tree ornaments! You will be so proud when you are finished.

The patterns included each day will all be different and may include different techniques and skills. These will all be explained in the pattern and will all be beginner/intermediate level. If you come across a pattern that seems too difficult or unfamiliar, feel free to skip it and make something that makes you happy. Or you can go for it and challenge yourself to learn something new!!
