Passap machine knitting instructions for belt knit with a double bed jacquard pattern. The patterning can be done manually following the chart given, or by using Jac punchcard 49 (2a).

Instructions are given for a 120 cm tubular knit drawstring and it suggests you “Ask your shoemaker to fit 4 hooks at each end of the belt” for the drawstring to be laced through. However, the photograph shows the belt laced with eight grommets, not hooks.

The pattern calls for 55 g “fairly fine mohair” (600m per 100g): 30 g green, 15 g navy and 10 g blue.

No test square is given.

The stitch sizes shown are for the earlier “Pinkie” Passap. An extra half a stitch size larger should be added for the later DM80 and E6000 machines.

The pattern pictured on the front cover of the model book, and again on p8 (p1 & p9 of the pdf), the instructions are on p23 of the instruction book (p42 of the pdf).
