2409 Coat
Passap machine knitting instructions for a coat / cardigan knit in a stripe pattern of 3 colours, alternating stocking stitch and a single bed tuck stitch. Patch pockets are knit in the same pattern and sewn on. The bottom of the cardigan is hemmed as are the wide sleeves. Front bands and the belt are knit in long stitch (N/CX).
The pattern calls for 740 g “fairly fine mohair/acrylic” (600m in 100g) : 465 g navy, 240 g blue, 35 g green
Test square: 100 sts = 46 cm, 100 rows = 17 cm
The stitch sizes given in this model book are for the earlier “Pinkie” Passap (referred to as the “Duo” in this model book). Add an extra half stitch size to get the appropriate stitch size for the later DM80 and E6000 machines.
The pattern is pictured on p8 of the model book, (p9 of the pdf), the instructions are on p39 of the instruction book (p58 of the pdf).
