Passap machine knitting instructions for a shawl collared, belted cardigan / jacket. The plain parts of the jacket are knit in an automatic single bed tuck pattern (pattern 1). The motif rows are also knitted in single bed tuck either manually by following the chart given, or by using Jac punchcard 58 (41), alongside changing colours as directed in the pattern.

The pattern calls for 525g “fairly fine mohair/acrylic“ (600m per 100g): 400 g blue, 45 g black, 40 g white and 40 g brown.

Test squares:
Pattern 1 simple AX pattern : 100 sts = 45 cm, 100 rows = 14 cm
Pattern 2 motif AX pattern: 100 sts = 45 cm, 100 rows = 19 cm

The stitch sizes given in this model book are for the earlier “Pinkie” Passap (referred to as the “Duo” in this model book). Add an extra half stitch size to get the appropriate stitch size for the later DM80 and E6000 machines.

The pattern is pictured on p5 of the model book, (p6 of the pdf), the instructions are on p28 of the instruction book (p47 of the pdf).
