#25 Color Block Jacket
Pattern description from Vogue Knitting, Winter 2007/08: “James Coviello’s graphic, tactile A-line crocheted jacket is worked in one piece to the underarms and shaped with double decreases at the sides. It’s colorblocked with Karabella Yarns’ ‘Aurora Bulky’ on the set-in sleeves, below the waistline and at the yoke in a double crochet post stitch. The bodice’s geometric intarsia design is worked in single crochet, the same stitch that edges the entire garment.”
“Close-fitting crochet coat with stripes worked in post stitches and a single crochet colorblock panel inset. Designed by James Coviello. Sized for Small, Medium, Large, 1-X and 2-X and shown in size X-Small on pages 92 & 93.”
