Pattern description from Knit.1, Winter 2007/2008: “Loren Cherensky’s cropped urban-urchin vest, in ‘Blizzard’ by Reynolds/JCA, is a no-sew wonder: Just knit the main piece - marked by its standup ribbed collar and contrasting arm-hole bands - then button the separate ribbed strap to the front.”
Stuff:
- 3 balls in #617 Light Purple of Blizzard by Reynolds/JCA, Inc., 3½oz/100g balls, each approx 66yd/60m (alpaca/acrylic)
- 1 ball each in #43 magenta and #44 Violet
- One pair size 15 (10mm) needles or size to get the gauge
- One set (5) size 15 (10mm) double-pointed needles
- Two 1¾“/44mm buttons
