HIPSTAR is a hat that is knitted with the Rib Stitch Pattern and a folded over cuff. It is knitted bottom-up with a set of 4 double-pointed needles. For the part before the decreases a circular needle can be used as well.

HIPSTAR has already been published as a German version before now the brand-new English version in online. This hat is greatly popular with both woman and men of every age.

Required skills: knit, purl, cast on and purl 3 stitches together.

You don´t have to knit like a pro to get a perfect result. Even a beginner will make it easily and quickly. Many photos and written explanations will clarify the steps and lead you through.

Materials needed:
• 50 (100) 150 (150) 200 grams yarn, i.e. Lilly MERINO by WoolAffair – 100% Merino Wool – Yardage: 100g/240m*
• Set of double-pointed needles size 4 mm (US:6; UK:8)
• (optional) circular needle size 4mm (US:6; UK:8), length 40cm (16 inches)
• 4 stitch markers, sewing needle, scissors
