Passap knitting machine instructions for a sleeveless dress with pleated bodice, gathered skirt and tie belt.

The bulk of the dress is knit in stocking stitch (skirt back in half tubular stocking stitch, the belt circular stocking stitch), with the collar and button hole band in long stitch. The bodice pleating is done as the pieces are sewn together.

The pattern calls for 750 g “synthetic yarn” (330m per 100g), 6 buttons and narrow elastic (for the skirt waist).

Test square in stocking stitch: 100 st = 37 cm, 100 rows = 26 cm
