#27 Like Cinderella's Shoes
Wouldn’t you like a cardigan that fits like Cinderella’s glass shoes? Oh, I know – one of them fell off. Never mind…
Wouldn’t it be nice to follow a pattern that is made for you, and that is guaranteed to fit you? If it is also trendy and easy to knit, wouldn’t that be awesome?
Wouldn’t it be even better if it can be made with the yarn you have in your stash, and it isn’t very important how much yarn you have? This is that sort of cardigan pattern
Of course there are some limits to what I can promise you, but as long as you follow these ground rules you will be ok:
- The yarn is supposed to be knit at needles 3, 3,5 or 4.
- The gauge is between 22 and 26 sts per 10 cm (width) in stockinette st. The height gauge is not relevant.
- You have 1300 to 1700 m of yarn at your disposal.
- Your size is S, M or L, and your body type is fairly average. (It will be possible to use the pattern even if you have other sizes, but you will have to adapt a little more when the instructions from time to time states that you shall k a nr of cm or sts.)
- You are able to follow step by step instructions that demand a little work from you as a knitter, since you will have to try the cardigan on, measure both it and your body and do a little simple math.
- You accept that your end result deviates a little from mine. That is of course as long as you don’t use the same type and amount of yarn that I have used and my measurements.
- If the pattern states that something is important, it is. So follow the important instructions as closely as you are able to.
