Pattern description from Knit.1, Fall 2007: “When you’re hammering out deals in the proverbial trenches, it helps to have a trench coat. Wilma Peers’s oversized version is worked in Lion Brand Yarn’s ‘Jiffy’ in a two-color half-linen stitch. Extra panache comes from the fold-down collar, solid garter-stitch borders and patch pockets.”

• 5 (5, 6, 6, 7) skeins in #109 Royal of Jiffy® by Lon Brand Yarn 3oz/85g skeins, each approx 135yd/123m (acrylic)
• 4 (4, 5, 5, 6) skeins in #154 Oxford Grey
• One pair each sizes 10 and 11 (6 and 8mm) needles or size to get the gauge
• Stitch holder
