Pattern description:
This pattern provides instructions for Baby hats knitted in King Cole DK yarn.

Gauge:
The tension for the pixie hat -
25 stitches and 40 rows to 10cm (4“) over pattern using 4mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

The tensions are given separately for each hat. Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.

Sizing Information:
Pixie hat:
(Size 1: 31.5cm/ 12.5”), (Size 2: 37cm/ 14.5”), (Size 3: 42cm/ 16.5”).

Bluebell hat:
(Size 1: 34.5cm/ 13.5”), (Size 2: 41cm/ 16.25”), (Size 3: 49cm/ 19.25”).

Checks and stripes:
(Size 1: 35cm/ 13.75”), (Size 2: 40.5cm/ 16”), (Size 3: 45.5cm/ 18”).

Ribbons and bows:
(Size 1: 36cm/ 14.25”), (Size 2: 40.5cm/ 16”), (Size 3: 45.5cm/ 18”).

Bobble hat:
(Size 1: 35cm/ 13.75”), (Size 2: 39.5cm/ 15.5”), (Size 3: 43cm/ 17”).

Balaclava:
(Size 1: 39.5cm/ 15.5”), (Size 2: 42cm/ 16.5”), (Size 3: 44.5cm/ 17.5”).

Yarn used:
King Cole Big value baby DK - 100g balls.
320yrds/290m
Shade/s: You can pick what shade to use.

Hats:
For all hats using just one colour -
(Size 1: 1 balls yarn).

Then you will need a small amount of each shade for the multi coloured hats.

You will need one pair of 3.25mm (UK 10 / USA 3) crochet hook for the checks and stripes hat.
You will need 2 metres of narrow ribbon for the ribbons and bows hat.
