Passap machine knitting instructions for a man’s sweater with an argyle pattern knit in a double bed jacquard stitch (described as “fairisle with long stitch”) using a self punched Deco card.

Materials:

  • 100g dark green
  • 90g pale green
  • 90g aubergine
  • 90g beige

The pattern suggests “fairly fine synthetic yarn” with 700 meters per 100g (220 yds per oz.).

Gauge:

  • 100 sts = 18.5cm
  • RC 100 = 14cm

The stitch sizes given in this model book are for the DM80 and E6000 Passap knitting machines. To use this pattern on an earlier “Pinkie” use stitch size half a stitch size smaller.

Other sizes may be knit using pattern 7 of the Form Computer Instruction Book

By following the schematic, this pattern can be adapted for use in other standard gauge knitting machines.

The pattern is pictured on p6 of the model book, (p8 of the pdf), the instructions start on p29 of the instruction book (p52 of the pdf).
